We were asked to make a song about Drug Abuse and Misuse the dangers and possible solutions, so listen to mine and tell me what you think as you listen to the story of my friend who abused drugs who was a victim of misuse of  Drugs.. meanwhile stay away from Drug Abuse and Misuse.

I came to her doorstep, a package in hand,
Just another delivery, yet something more so.
For there she stood, with a spark in her eyes—
A doctor by day, with dreams that rise.

Through her Facebook, I came to see,
A love for caffeine and culinary spree.
She’s a healer at heart, but in every sip,
She finds a comfort, a gentle grip.

With coffee in hand, she starts each dawn,
A ritual she’s crafted, her own quiet song.
And come the night, she’s tasting and trying,
Every flavor that keeps her from sighing.

In that brief exchange, I caught a glimpse
Of a life lived richly, without pretense.
A doctor, a dreamer with tastes so keen—
She drinks in the world, savouring each scene.

‘Of all the love movies I have ever watched, I believed everyone who fell in love was a fool or loon until you happened to me and that changed how I felt about EVERYTHING… Before YOU!!!

I fell for your dimpled laughter
At CRB Hill by the Giant Tree of Life
And then for your accent.
And you didn’t notice me
Staring at you, STAR-GAZING…

Those eyes were cold like the Arctic winter
And the sheer sunlight speckled it
Like dying embers.
‘Shining bright like Diamonds in the sky…’

The rain glazed the streets of the city
Couldn’t deter my attention
Transfixed at the way
You tucked your hair behind your ear
When it kissed your cheek,
Springing in soft curls…
When you talked excitedly
About things I wouldn’t know
With your girlfriends

ENAMOURED
I was by the way the morning air
Blew through your long black hair
And I beheld your royalty as
You bought a Red Rose
From the kind little boy
And walked along the street…
Straight ahead.

Straight into my heart,
You reign supreme
Even to this day.

A Morning in February it was…
I never saw you again after that day…

She’s a Rose, so beautiful that you’ll fall for her at first glimpse, And I guess for most people she was love at first sight, They tried to pluck her, But ended up midway. Whoever came, they just left her behind. Cause she a beautiful rose with thorns. People cared about her beauty, But ain’t nobody cared about the thorns she carried, Like, other roses don’t carry? But she embraced her thorns as a part of her beauty, Might be those thorns are to protect her, Or they could be the wounds they gave her. Why do you think roses have thorns? Cause to me, not only her beauty, But even her thorns feel pretty. It won’t hurt you if you are strong enough, It won’t hurt you if you love her enough, It won’t hurt you if you trust her enough. Why don’t you just dare to pick her up first? They want to be valued, They want to care. Might be it comes out that thorns are part of her true beauty, Might be you find that thorns too are a part of her glory. Why don’t you dare to take her out of this world, And accept her as a whole, Dear, cause we all have flaws, Don’t we??? Some need to be cherished, Some need to care, Just waiting for someone who can accept And nurture them with care. Why don’t you take that first step? Could you miss something so beautiful, yet fragile?? Doesn’t she deserve a chance??? She is beautiful, loyal, understanding, and even more. But she just needs to be loved, cared and valued with all she got. Cause she is a beautiful Rose, with all her flaws!!!

Today, I stepped into the role of an Arabic teacher! Dressed the part and shared the joy of learning our beautiful language. Explaining words, and practicing writing – it was a mini classroom adventure. Teaching is so much fun!  I felt like a language wizard. Maybe one day, I’ll be a real Arabic teacher. Until then, I’ll cherish this playful moment of passing on the gift of language.
