https://www.e3s-conferences.org/articles/e… Public governance, especially in the education sector, has changed due to the rapid advancements in digital technology. This research aims to map and analyze the progress of e-Government research in the field of public administration related to education using bibliometric methodology. Using VOSviewer and CiteSpace, this study identifies major trends, citation networks, and keyword clusters, based on data extracted from Scopus between 2014 and 2024. The results revealed five main thematic groups: the role of local government, public participation, digital skills, digital communication, and user satisfaction, and showed that implementing e-Government requires more than just technological skills. However, socio-political support and the ability to adapt to the culture are also needed. Although improvements in efficiency, transparency, and participation in education governance may occur, e-Government projects still face issues such as a lack of digital literacy and the digital divide. Additionally, this research highlights the importance of e-Government in supporting the sustainable development agenda, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and SDG 13 (Climate Action). Therefore, this research provides theoretical and practical contributions to building digital policies in the field of inclusive and environmentally friendly education.

https://www.e3s-conferences.org/articles/e… This research examines the effectiveness of e-Government implementation in Yogyakarta City through the Jogja Smart Service (JSS) application, a digital public service platform integrated with all Regional Apparatus Organizations. The study aims to identify challenges and potentials in implementing e-Government, particularly those related to low digital literacy and limited community participation. Using a qualitative approach, the research combines literature analysis from Scopus and Google Scholar databases with bibliometric mapping through CiteSpace software. The findings show that JSS improves transparency, efficiency of public services, and communication between government and citizens, although obstacles remain in terms of socialization and digital readiness. Beyond governance efficiency, JSS also contributes to sustainable urban development by promoting paperless administration, reducing reliance on energy-intensive bureaucratic processes, and enabling more effective urban resource management. These contributions are closely aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). Overall, the study highlights JSS not merely as a digital innovation but as a catalyst for resilient, green, and accountable urban governance.

https://www.taylorfrancis.com/chapters/edi… This study investigates the ever-changing and intricate environment of last-mile logistics in Pakistan, with a specific focus on the distinct obstacles and growing possibilities within this crucial industry. The main goal is to identify and analyze the main challenges encountered by logistics companies in the last stage of delivery and to investigate new solutions that can improve effectiveness and customer contentment in Pakistan’s logistics sector. This study used a qualitative research methodology to collect data by conducting comprehensive interviews with important stakeholders, such as logistics managers, delivery staff, and industry experts. Thematic analysis is employed to examine the data and reveal underlying patterns and insights. The study demonstrates that the final segment of logistics in Pakistan is impeded by various obstacles, including poor infrastructure, traffic congestion, and inadequate technological integration. Nevertheless, there are substantial prospects in using cutting-edge technology such as route optimization software, capitalizing on the expansion of e-commerce, and promoting partnerships between logistics providers and local businesses. The paper asserts that although last-mile logistics in Pakistan encounters significant obstacles, feasible solutions, and innovations exist that can tackle these challenges and take advantage of the rapidly growing e-commerce business. Implementing these solutions effectively can greatly enhance the efficiency and dependability of last-mile delivery, ultimately leading to improved customer satisfaction and helping the expansion of the logistics sector in Pakistan.

https://www.taylorfrancis.com/chapters/edi… This paper addresses whether artificial intelligence could, as in the 2024 movie The Wild Robot, create evolutionary changes in animals. The question is how Generative AI, within the film, could conceivably lead to evolution in behavior, communication, or physical traits in animals with which it interacts largely and under specified conditions of integration into the environment. A qualitative approach was taken, using the film’s storyline to perform a detailed thematic analysis supported by a review of the scientific literature on relevant applications of Generative AI in animal behavior studies and evolutionary biology. The results presented show that although such a portrayal in this movie is fictional and speculative, real-world applications of Generative AI could have indirect effects on the evolutionary pathways of species through, for example, tracking animal movements, enhancing adaptive learning through Generative AI-guided training, and facilitating interspecies communication. For instance, habitat alteration and resource management enabled by generative AI can potentially impose selection pressure for gradual changes in the genetics or behavior of a species. Ecological uncertainty and ethical concerns remain a major issue. The research finds that generative AI has comparatively modest immediate potential to affect animal evolution but can have an immense influence on ecosystems and behavior, offering room for biodiversity control. The research is interested in how the convergence of multidisciplines can securely make the potential of generative AI in ecological and evolutionary use a reality.
