Have you transformed a patch of land, a rooftop, or a few raised beds into a food lifeline for your community? This is your space. We’re spotlighting real efforts that tackle food insecurity at the roots. These projects grow more than vegetables. They grow access, resilience, and shared responsibility.

This isn’t about large-scale production. It’s about everyday people growing local food to meet local needs. Maybe your garden supports a community fridge. Maybe it provides fresh produce to a nearby shelter. Maybe your group came together and harvested 2,000 kilograms of vegetables and shared them across households that truly needed it. That is what food security looks like in action.

If your project helped people eat better, more consistently, or more affordably, we want to hear how. What did you grow? Who got involved? How did you work around space issues, water shortages, or stretched budgets? Did you use local seeds, recycled materials, or traditional growing methods to stretch your yield?

Show us the journey. The buckets of compost, the makeshift planters, the community planning. Include quotes from your crew or the people receiving the food. Be honest about the tough moments and proud of what came from them.

Across the world, communities are looking for ideas they can adapt. Your story might be the one that gets someone to pick up a shovel. Share your food security project and let your harvest speak.
