My professional experience managing multiple projects centered on capacity-building and resource development spans various sectors, including education, agriculture, healthcare, and NGO initiatives. I have led program design, implementation, and evaluation to ensure sustainable impact. Notably, as Programme Coordinator and Administrative Director at JJIL-Agro-Produce Storage Innovation Centre, I oversaw the development of solar-powered storage systems for perishable farm produce, significantly reducing post-harvest losses and increasing farmers’ profits. I also led the design of the Solar-Gas Storage System (SGS-TECH), enhancing resource efficiency for tuber crops.
In the nonprofit sector, I served as Secretary General and Administrative Director for Read, Learn and Grow Literacy Organization of Nigeria, where I coordinated literacy programs and campaigns to promote reading culture among youth. These initiatives involved mobilizing resources, drafting proposals, and managing project activities to improve educational access.
My experience also includes capacity-building workshops on total quality management, effective administration, and human resource management, which I facilitated for NGOs and community organizations. Additionally, I managed technical projects such as the design of a Toilet System Incorporated Bed prototype for healthcare, demonstrating resourcefulness in addressing health and social needs.
Throughout my career, I have successfully coordinated multi-stakeholder collaborations, prepared proposals for funding, and monitored project impacts. My efforts have resulted in improved infrastructure, enhanced community skills, and increased resource efficiency. Overall, I am adept at overseeing complex projects, mobilizing resources, and fostering sustainable development through innovative solutions and strategic planning.
My experience with participatory and deliberative democracy, civic engagement, and inclusive decision-making spans multiple initiatives aimed at empowering communities and fostering democratic participation. As a member of the Board of Trustees and Secretary General of Read, Learn and Grow Literacy Organization of Nigeria, I coordinated programs that promoted community involvement in education and literacy projects, encouraging grassroots participation in shaping local educational initiatives.
During my tenure at RETAGE (Retirement Age Initiative), I facilitated inter-NGO conferences and grassroots workshops focused on empowering retired citizens and rural farmers through participatory approaches. These activities emphasized inclusive dialogue, community-led project design, and collective decision-making, ensuring that marginalized groups’ voices contributed to development strategies.
In India, as an international intern with AIESEC, I engaged in community education projects where underprivileged children and youth actively participated in learning and skill development activities. I also facilitated communication skills and personality development sessions, fostering a participatory learning environment that emphasized inclusivity and civic responsibility.
