During our visit to the Food Engineering Unit, we explored the technological side of food production and learned how engineering principles are applied to the processing of food.
We were introduced to different food-processing techniques, equipment, and technologies used to transform raw agricultural materials into useful and consumable products. The experience helped me understand that engineering extends far beyond machines and structures—it also plays an important role in food production, preservation, processing, and industrial technology.
It was an insightful practical experience that broadened my understanding of how technology and engineering contribute to one of the most essential industries in society.
