My professional journey has been driven by a strong passion for youth empowerment, health advocacy, and innovation. As a medical student at KCMC University, I have focused on creating impactful solutions that address gaps in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information among young people. One of my greatest achievements was launching the “Red Ribbon Initiative” during my very first year of study. Starting a health-focused initiative at such an early stage demonstrated my commitment to leadership and community impact. Through this initiative, I have worked to promote HIV awareness, reduce stigma, and educate youths on SRHR through community outreach programs, awareness campaigns, and youth-centered discussions. I also founded the “Elimika Kiganjani” app, a digital platform designed to improve access to accurate and youth-friendly SRHR information.
