My journey in the Oil and Gas industry has given me the exposure to various technological advancements in the process engineering profession inclusive of water management and treatment applications. I believe that water resource management has not been given priority over the past few decades and has been managed in an unsustainable manner leading to the deprivation of this vital resource from marginal communities in particular. I believe the engineering profession has a leadership role to play in ensuring that equity is maintained in the availability of this precious resource.
