My professional journey spans more than 23 years with the European Union across Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. I have built much of my career in environments where leadership is tested by real complexity, from Colombia and Egypt to Afghanistan, the West Bank and Gaza, Lebanon and Syria. I currently serve as Head of Finance, Contracts and Audit for the EU Delegations to Lebanon and Syria, simultaneously leading the function for two highly complex operations. Previously, I held Head of Finance roles in Afghanistan and the West Bank and Gaza. Throughout my career, I have led multicultural teams through conflict, political transitions, evacuations, institutional transformation and crisis, while maintaining operational continuity, accountability and performance. What distinguishes my journey is the combination of operational leadership and the reflection that emerged from it. Years of leading under pressure made me increasingly interested in what allows some leaders to preserve clarity, judgment and intentional action when complexity rises, and in how identity, biases and blind spots influence the way we interpret reality. This led me to write "Leadership Intelligence in the AI Era" and develop my Decode–Navigate–Amplify approach, bringing together self-leadership, organizational intelligence and the potential of AI to amplify human capacity while preserving human judgment and responsible agency. I am also a certified Executive Coach and Hogan Assessments Practitioner, with leadership education through Harvard and the European School of Administration. I was recognized among White Page International’s Global 200 Women Power Leaders 2026. I am now bringing this experience to a broader international audience through public speaking, with the ambition to contribute a distinctive voice to the global conversation about leadership in an age of complexity and intelligent systems.
